Default How do you keep your bike safe?

I just moved to Revere, MA. It's not the hood, and my area is nice, but there are certainly shady parts. My security now consists of the standard security system on my 01 FXDXT (it gives you a warning when you tilt it up, then starts going off like crazy). I also have a wheel lock that attaches to the rear brake rotor with a 1cm thick bolt of hardened steel. Therefore to steal it you would have to back a pickup into my driveway already filled with three cars, disarm the security system, then lift all 650 lbs of the bike straight up into the air unless you decide to go at the lock with a hack saw for a while. Even with 4 burly dudes, that's 160 lbs each of awkward weight..
Do you guys think my bike is safe? How easy is it to pry into the internals of the bike and manually disarm the alarm? The only other thing I can think to do is drive a cement bolt into my foundation and chain the bike to it. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!

All of mine are insured and locked in the garage.

I'm the most paranoid security conscious person I know and it sounds like you've done just about all you can reasonably do to protect an 01 bike.

No bike, car or home is safe if a POS thief wants your stuff.

I have the factory alarm/siren/neck lock/insurance gimmick. But it's in a carport, so it's basically there for the taking. I do keep it covered up!

My insurance company worries about my bike being stolen but I don't.

I gotta agree, if someone wants to steal it they will. Even easier now with all the cordless tools out there, I could cut that brake lock off in under a minute.
