Anybody see the new Nightster Sportster yet? They had one out on the floor yesterday. The thing is awesome.

Yeah, there were some threads about it a while back. Most liked it except the VP for Marketing and Mysterious Research needed to be wood-shedded for coming up with the dorkiest name of all time[X(]

 

Yah! Sat on the one at the local dealership. Pretty sweet sled! Really nice riding position except for the mid controls. Seat's comfy, and I love the look of the back end. Didn't get to take it out on the road, but we'll see what happens next month at the dealership's Demo Day. I kinda like the name, just a little iffy to me. Think they could have come up with a better option, but overall I'm impressed.

 

I really like what they've done with this bike and would bet it'll sell very well.

I have to say this is the first i have seen it. I hate sportys I don't look at them and don't bother. When I couldnt afford a rk but could a sporty I waited. my wife wanted a sporty, she got a lowrider and then a delux. Sportys never did it for me.
I must say that thing looks like a riot. I am guessing not too pricy right? It would be a good play bike. Ya know the type, sits in the garage until partys then ya rip it up and down the street, feet on the ground burn outs, tail whips.... kinda like my buddies buel... except cooler

 

YEP....THE WIFE LIKED IT SO MUCH SHE IS READY TO GO BACK THIS WEEKEND AND BUY ONE.
THE DEALER HAD AN ORNAGE AND BLACK ONE DID NOT CARE FOR THE COLOR. SO THE WIFE INFORMS ME SHE WILL TAKE ONE IN BLACK SO IT LOOKS LIKE WE WILL HAVE A NEW ADDITION THE BIKE FAMILY.

oh-hum, so Harley davidson looked back into the 50s and 60s and redid something from that time period, although the black is new, thats about all, and even then sometimes the guys just painted parts black or silver cause they couldn't afford chrome..But the bike does look nice.I like the old fashioned gatters on the forks ALA early sportys.

 

Controls need to be farther forward IMO.

Other than that I really like it. Best Sporty ever made IMO.
