Default Riser bolt Grade

Wanting opinions on riser bolt grades,, I replaced mini apes with street slammer bars & need a little more height. I am installing 1 1/2 '' riser extensions. Was planning on using 4'' grade 8 bolts. But after reading a couple posts on sheared bolts I'm questioning if grade 8 would be a wise choice. Being harder I think they would be more brittle & easier to shear. Your thoughts.

Grade 8 bolt is what you need to use. Will have more tensile strength against shear.
