My youngest son has shown an interest in riding. My wife, a retired nurse, about laid an egg. I was ready for him though. Him, being the youngest, had his last 2 cars bought for him by my wife. He didn't keep them up and drove them into the ground, and he's not doing much better on the Ford Ranger he's driving now. To keep from getting blamed for the rest of my life if he hurts himself, I told him he had to get his own ride and license, which in Florida is to complete the MSF course. So far he completed the MSF. Figure maybe if he gets his own ride he'll respect and care for it more. I would like to see him get one though so we could hit the road together someday.

My 9 year old has been on back for 4 years the 11 year old not so much but have taught them in last month how to ride a 70 and 80 cc Honda dirtbikes I bought for them. I'm sure youngest will grow up to ride but older one not to sure.

My married son (in his mid 20's) rides. He had been on dirt bikes since a teenager. We actually caused his father in law to buy a SE bike! He jumps on one of my bikes when he comes to visit from out of state.

My daughter is too busy making me a grandparent. She also use to ride with me. Though I doubt she will ever buy a bike.

The Course is the only way to go with a new rider!

A couple years ago my oldest e mailed me a pic of her 1st bike....A Rebel. She wanted to know how to break the news to my mom & sister cuz they'd have a fit after me losing an arm. They did eventually get over it!

I'm 29 and I just finally convinced my father to let me ride with him. I had dirt bikes when I was younger, but my parents were always apprehensive about me riding on the street. Being in a suburb of Philadelphia, it is very crowded around here, so I could understand their concerns.
