Try a fancy 7 course meal!! A frozen burrito and a six-pack.

An old fashioned pig roast is nice. My own burger recipe always goes over well. Of course some beer and chips or tater salad is a must as well. For the ladies you could serve up a drink aptly named Angels Fall.

I'm with AthletesFoot.

Brats and beer.

Unless it's turning into an all nighter, then a pig is great. Are you going to have someone skip the ride to do prep?

The pig roast sounds great. Some people can't eat pork for a number of reasons so I would also suggest using a turkey frier and fry up a boat load of chicken wings too and maybe grill some burgers and hot dogs. Sam's Club has these big bags of chicken wings that already have the tips removed, just open the bag and dump them into the frier and in 12 to 15 minutes you have wings, just toss them into some sauce and serve.

Pig roasts are great, but finding whole pigs is getting hard to do, at least around my area it is and steaks while a great idea can be very costly. Also, steaks require cutting utinsels and to me they just aren't suited for large BBQ type parties. Finger type foods would be best, something people don't have to try cutting up to eat.
