That is illegal in WI. Not that I ever heard of it being enforced.

 

Remember, in the corporate world, "Greed is good!" According to fictional character Gordon Geko in Wallstreet.... So the MOCO is just being a good corporate citizen. Nevermind that the corporate mentality is responsible for things like plastic brake lines and the like....

 

Yea, this isn't just the MoCo doing this stuff. There is a reason why I shop things six months out. I know what things SHOULD be selling for before I go in to buy it just for this reason. 50% off something that's been marked up 200% isn't much of a sale.

Actually, that's not too bad. 50% off $182.35 is $91.18. That's about 28% off the $129.95 price. That's how I'd look at it. Almost 30% off the normal price. So technically it is "on sale" but not really 50% off. Like just about anything in the car/motorcycle business it's a shell game. We're going to make you look over there so you don't notice what we're doing over here.

 

NSCoyote said the helmet was $130 before the sale. During the supposed 50% off sale, the helmet was $182. It increased in price.

 

He was saying it was 50% off of $182. Which is still a good deal, but not 50%. $91, which is still 30% off.

 

ya when i looked at it before the sale it was $130, once the sale started it got a new sticker over the original tag new one says $182 then you take 50% off that.

stupid thing is it looks identical to the outlaw ultra low carbon just has a differnt brand name on it. but far as i can tell its identical in fit and features

 

Why don't they just keep the real price, and have a 30% off sale? I would respect that, a lot more.
