I've done Toys for Tots almost every year since the mid 70's and it's the one that I refuse to miss.
I might do one in the Summer, but it's a longshot. Years ago, a charity run would be held every now and then and they were usually big events. Now, there are several every weekend within a 50 mile radius and I don't see the point.

I don't like riding with people that only come out for the group rides.
Not that all of them are 'amateurs', but enough are and they scare me.

I do as many as I can make it to.
It's great to see all the bikes, and it's fun to ride with 100 or 200 + bikes and see the reactions of people on the side of the road.

Vermont Thunder I am doing this spring . Last fall my workplace did a ride forSt Judes .

I don't know if this counts as CR but we adopted an institution called "Mi ultimo deseo" (My last wish). They are a shelter for kidsin terminal cancer phase.All the events organized by our chapter are to gather funds for this organization. Twice a year we take the kids for a ride and gather toys in Christmast for their presents.
Does not get any better, riding to make a child happy... I cannot ask for more.

I do a few a year. I also ride in theones thatcome up I feel strongly about such as one coming up for a local Deputy Sheriff who was killed in the line of duty. I also make the ride to D.C as often as I can for National Police Week to honor the officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Have a few friend's names on the wall.

I ride in the annual "Ride for Kids" run. It's in support of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. I also ride in PGRmissions. However, I really don't like riding in formations.

I belong to PGR and do as manymissions as I can. I also do both toy runs that we have here every year. I am also on a committee to plan a charity poker run for a cancer awareness program, and we hope this will become an annual thing as well. I feel getting involved in such things helps to improve the biker community image.

I doa few, but I do have to say it gets harder each year riding in a pack of people that do not seem to know how to ride in parade formation. My seats are starting to get pucker marks in them.
