C'mon people... your bike is nice, but think before you price.

No way I'd let that bike go for 10k! Even if I "needed" to sell it. Anyway, I'm sure you'll find a bagger at the right price. A buddy of mine scored a 2001 Road King w/apes for around $9500.00 with 10k on the clock. The thing looks nearly new.

yep, and since they financed the extended warranty, some chrome go faster parts, a helmet and jacket, and tax, title and license, the payoff is way over what the market value is. come back in 4 years, you might be able to sell for payoff then

Yeah... I released a lot of pent up frustration of guys telling me I'm low-balling them because I won't pay list price from 2005.
My bike is a good example... if I "wanted"" to sell it, I'd list it for mid book (about $10k I think) plus the $4-5k I have in the motor and trans. See if I can get a buyer...
If I "needed" to sell it... list it at $11k and take $10k.
And I agree with you... if you can ask an insane price and get it from an insane buyer... more power to you. But I'm seeing bikes that have been listed for many months at 20% over market rate that guys are not reducing.

What say you, I have $$ in hand and ready to roll!

I don't know where you lay your head Suntower, but here is a 2000' King for sale. I'm not certain if this is Pa. or not. No pictures, but it's a start. I found it through another threads link to a SOA Sportster for sale; http://reading.craigslist.org/mcy/3651463050.html

...right, $15,000 for a bike that is a decade old. when $15,000 will buy you a new softail from the floor.

Yes... well... not really... 2005 is more "mid 2000's".
However... I would not be saying things in my ad like, "Thousands in options and added equipment!" because I changed the seat, glued on some leather fringe and bought some JC Whitney mirrors.
Or throwing the word "Custom" around because I changed the bars and put decals on it.
I also woundnt go thinking my 1995 Sportster... 883 Sportster at that... is worth $16 farking grand because it was in a magazine and has a ridiculous paint job... like this clown:

Extreme example... but this is not all that rare.
