if you wear bifocals try them on before you buy and sit on a bike to simulate your riding position. i bought some goggles that fit great in the store but when actually riding they push my glasses up too far and I'm looking through the bifocal. Not good.
Nice point unfortunately I do wear bifocals, will keep that in mind.
My prescription is to strong to put the rx in the riding glasses or goggles.I have two pair of Guard Dog Evader 1 goggles and love them!Fit nicely over my glasses and are not too big.
Both my wife and I got our prescription riding glasses from http://riderseye.com/ . Prices start at $80for any of their RX frames with tinted prescription lenses. One of the nicethings is they can add all of the stuff you get on regular RX glasses. Bifocals, progressives, different color tints (including mirror) even transitions lenses.Once we ordered, took about 2 1/2 weeks to get them.
This is what I wear, just a little over 20 bucks at the dealership. They come in clear, amber and dark. I just keep them in my bags if I need to change out...
i wear captain itch "ugly goggles" or something or other over top of my prscription glasses and they are ****ing amazing. and cool as hell
As do I. I rode with them all last year and they give a nice field of view, fit over my glasses, but they do push the frames up to my face a little. It took a couple rides to get used to them. But I can say, NO MORE SAND in my eyes! Helps a bunch with the wind at 70mph as well. You do get strange looks from people, when they see the " Bug Eyes ", but I enjoy thier reactions. I bought mine on Amazon though, for a great price.
