We only have enough salt and sand to start an inland beach

Wont be on bike here in Newfoundland for a while yet, Im hoping to get out by mid April. Last year I was able to get out fro a few rides in mid March before getting another load of snow. Its getting mild her now tho, just lots of salt and sand

I drove to IN a month ago and could not believe how much salt they put on the roads! Can't blame you for not riding at all.

On LI the salt and sand isn't too bad and most washes away after a good rain, so as long as there is no ice on the road I've been able to ride a lot this winter.

Back on shift for the next three days. I'll be riding to work in the morning with temps in the low to mid 30's and no rain. Took a nice ride today and it was a cozy 50 degrees out. Sweet!

Just finished cam upgrade and would love to ride too. Ice and snow on roads will delay that. Snowing here right now. Could be 38 on Sunday though. Has possibility.

Winter sucks here in Mi. Long range forecast colder then normal in to April.
I don't know where global warming went but I wish it had took Al Gore with it.

I would kill for a good 40 plus degree day! The last time I rode it was 25* and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

I love to ride all year long. In NW Illinois since Nov. 1st to today I have logged 63 riding days and 7,300 miles. The two bikes that I use are an 07 FXSTC and a 12 Ural with sidecar and 2WD. The Ural goes out when it is snowing and the Softail when the road is clear. I do ride when the temp gets into the twenties.

I have heated gloves but would need heated foot gear to ride in colder weather because at 72 I am old and frail. Not like some of you young tough riders.

Both bikes really need a wash job right now.

Getting out of here Friday AM. Going to So Ca for a week of riding with my brothers. Can hardly wait for the sun to come out up here in Oly.
And when it does, it's NO place like WA!
People think it's always raining up here. This place is the best kept secret in the good ol' US of A. Riding up here is in my opinion some of the best there is.
