I for one would have stopped,,, even if I was running in a Marathon,
I find myself stoppin alot,, just the type of guy I am....

 

Next time this happens, push the bike, that is broke down, over and set it on fire. I'm fairly sure someone will call the Fire Dept.

My response is like most of the others.
I always stop when I see a biker on the side of the road, that looks like he/she might have a problem. Never have stopped when there our multiple bikes stopped.I assume they aretaking a rest/smoke break or making some minor adjustments.
I would definitely stop if they gave some indication that they could use some extra help, unless they looked like unfriendly ba$tards..

I agree I would assume that it was a smoke break with three together.If it was something wrong and there were extra bikes around someone must have went for help or parts.

 

? how many bikers thatwent by waved or did they just ignore you.
And did you wave back ? When i see any bikers on the side of road
i always look over and wave. But when i see one on the side i will STOP!

If it was a lone Biker on the side of the road I would stop, or if someone in a group was
frantically flagging me down I would stop.

But three guys on the side of the road? I don't know. I would probably slow down, check
it out, and if I thought I could add something to the situation other than conversation, stop.

I guess that would make me a "Friendly Bastard"....

GOtta agree with almost everyone's posts; I stop for one or two but not three. That also depends on the environment. HDs are worth more in pieces than whole and I surely don't want to get jacked for mine (read set-up). If there are two bikes and three MALE riders, I assumeit is either gay ride, which I would rather have no part of, or, there are other bikes who have gone for help.
IF I was one of the three standing there and I needed help, I would be flagging down, cages, bikes, trucks for anybody to help me. I surely wouldn't waiting only on other riders for help.

Besides that, I would wave and wait for a response. If help was needed, there would be the opportunity to asks.

Give me my Bastard membership patch and credentials as I have just joined this fraternity too.
