I stop for any bike on the side of the road, whether I'm in my 4 wheeled vehicle or on my bike....Far too many new motorcycle owners (I will not honor them with the term Bikers) have no idea about the concept of the term: RESPECT.

If I saw 3 bikes together, I would assume that they were taking a smoke break, or if there was a problem that there was plenty of backup already there to take care of any problem. If it were someone alone, sure, I would stop.

I don't know if I would have stopped if I saw several people there but the rule is if you need help you place your helmet on the road behind the bike (don't know what you do if you aren't wearing one).

Last 2 times I stopped and asked if they needed help, one group of three was working on the bike, only the guys wife said thanks, the other two ignored me...so f'em!Second time, a guy riding alone on a new Yama-Davidson 650. Completely blew out his rear tire. I mean the darn thing was laying off of the rim, and it was a spoker, so the tube was wasted as well. When I asked him if he needed help, he just held up his cell phone, no smile, no thanks, etc.
So, in short, if you treat me like $hit, that's what you get back. Unless I know you, you are pretty much on your own. Hate to be like that, but since people no longer know how to be polite and appreciate someone stopping what they're doing to help them, then they can just learn to fend for themselves...momma should have raised them right!

Three riders on the side of the rode, i would assume someone would flag me if they needed help. A lone bike I would stop and ask them.

somebody who is obviously more worried about my bike
and how I choose to use it, then they are worried about
