Can anyone who knows they have legitimate WileyX glasses/goggles (SG-1) type only. Look on their frames and tell me where it says its made in? I picked up two pairs from different vendors off Ebay. One said Made in Italy on the side arms (sunglass mode). and one said made in Taiwan. the Taiwan ones look fake compared to the Italian ones.

Not SG-1's, mine are XL-1 but they say "Made in Italy". Email Wiley-x on their web site and ask them if any legitimate glasses are made in Taiwan.

 

Italy. Most uncomfortable glasses I have ever worn. They do not hold a candle to my Panoptx chubasco and chinook glasses. In my opinion.

 

ok thanks... figured the taiwans maybe fake copies... the lenses didnt fit as well either. I went to the website and I see that they have two types of replacement sides. The $12 side temples and $10 side temples (Italian). The Italian ones seem not as thick around the ears. (under parts and accessories).

Hey Clueless, I was a dealer for Wiley X for quite awhile. They get glasses from both areas. A couple of years agoall were made in Italy. Now there "high end" glasses come from Italy and their budget ones come from Taiwan. I looked at the SG-1 (my favorites by the way with the goggle strap) and they do not have any country of origin markings on them. Here is a picture, sorry for the lack of quality.

Glad you posted that, myzen. I was about to take mine apart because I can't find a country of origin on them. I love mine, by the way.
