Default Cafe racer handle bars on a fatboy lo

Anyone have cafe racer bars/clubman bars on a fatboy lo ? Post some pics or give a idea if u can please. I'm interested in putting them on my 2011 fatboy lo for a deferent feel . I'm tired of getting pushed around by the rocky mntn front winds with my apes .

I doubt you are going to find any photos of cafe bars on a Fatboy. I have not only never seen it, but I can't imagine it would look right or be the least bit comfortable. I would suggest you look at drag bars, flat track style bars and low T style (or even the Hollywood Bars on the Slim). There certainly are plenty of photos out there of the above bars and they can all be very comfortable. I suggest you determine to the extent possible where you want your hands to rest and then work towards finding a bar and riser combo that looks good to you and places your hands where you want to end up. If you do decide to try cafe, clubman or clip-ons then please post photos because I'll be very interested in how your bike ends up. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Bars that low and forward don't work well with a feet forward seating position. You'll be stretched out like you are trying to touch your toes. What you need is a wind shield and bars about the height of your elbows that are far enough back you can grip with your elbows slightly bent and swing them from left to right lock without having to move your upper torso to extend your reach.

Having a very slight forward lean gets your weight off your tail bone which will prevent back aches. It also makes it easier to ride at speed as you won't have that feeling that if you let go of the bars you will get blown off the back of the bike.

When someone say's cafe type bars I think of clip-ons, and that would be kinda hard to do without a narrow tank, or at least the tank would have to be notched out to allow the bars to turn.
