WCC VS Big Dog Motorcycles???
#23
I have a 2004 BD Pitbull. I ordered it new in Jan '04. At the time the stock motor was the S&S 107" I paid $1500 extra & got the 117" that brought my bike to $26,000. In the 6yrs Ive had my BD, I have had zero problems. Has really been a great bike. I will agree its more of a barhopper as it is a rigid but, I have taken it on a few road trips. The one thing besides the power & braking, that I really liked about it..... it was "done" when I got it. The only upgrade I did was put pipes & air cleaner on it. Havnt bought a single piece of chrome. It didnt need it. I know from the BD forums that some guys have had some problems, but I dont think anymore than any other mfg, & fortunately for me I havnt had any.

i have owned a harley nearly all my life ,1200 sport,4 softails, road king, dyna wide glide, built a custom softail in 95.i currently own 06 electra glide.if i could only have one bike its the harley hands down.i ride thousands of miles a year and the custom bikes do not cut it for 3 to 4 hundred mile trips.that being said ,for a shorter ride ,or a bar hopper my big dog is the most fun to ride bike i have owned.

A friend of mine had a bigdog. It was a piece of crap, always breaking down. Now he has a ironhorse. It's a piece of crap, always breaking down. He never did long rides with either of them from fear of breaking down & very uncomfortable. You'd think he'd learn by now & just buy a Harley. But, he's a pretty boy & likes the attention he gets with these bikes.
