Passing the DMV test in CA on a bke with ape hangers...
is quite possible in my opinion if you have good riding skills. I was talking toa friend the other night who has a Bemmer (bmw snob) and has to sell it. He was asking about my ape hangers and stated that he was certain that I couldn't go around a 14' circle with those bars. I told him that I could, and one of these days I'll head out to the valley to prove him wrong. He is of the opinion that there is no way apes can be comfortable or functional. I agree that they are an acquired taste, but I can't wait to prove him wrong. Maybe he'll buy a halrey now that he is selling his beemer. I'll bet I can talk him into it... So who else can handle any bike jsut fine, or thinks they can anyway...

Hey Knuckle head we agree on something ............ LOL
mine could do it but it would be tight with the 6" over front end and 18"apes
at least we took off the 6"risers and the 28" apes
but the best bike to take on the CA dmv course is the smaller stock bikes like 535 Virago's and down to the 250's rebels and lifans and viragos

I just want to prove him wrong. This guy thinks he knows all about everything. He jsut started riding about 2 years ago...He is a doctor, but that doesn't mean he knows anything about riding bikes...
