Default Nice looking bike!

Take it easy starting out and the best advice to build confidence with slow sharp turns is a big empty parking lot with no one around.
As others said just read the threads about the bells and decide for yourself.

Nice lookin bike. I like it. You're not on a dirt bike anymore. Just take it easy and it will become comfortable for you to ride. No harm on the Gremlin Bell. One has to be given to you.

Nice looking Wide Glide you got there. Good luck with it and take your time, you will get used to the slow speed maneuvering in no time. Tell your buds you need a bell, it has to be a gifted to you for it to work properly as far as the myth goes.

i put it back for now till one finds its way to me.

as for the extras the bike came with i dont really know what half of it is. i was having one of those moments while he was explaining i heard blah blah blah and angels singing lol

i like everything about it except the forward controls. they may be alright if they are adjustable but atm they are about an inch too far away for me to be comfortable even though the guy i bought it from was my height. other than that i just want some bags for it and maybe ditch the sissy bar and passenger seat. the woman wants nothing to do with it so no need for it. i thought the sissy bar was a great place to sit my helmet while i let it warm up but the second i hit the ignition it bucked the helmet right off and scratched it up lol waiting for a new one from daytona now. i just grabbed one of the cheapo walmart half's till it gets here.

on the bell. is it bad to ask someone for one? my Bday is coming up and my lady has been looking for something to get me.

Congrats on the new ride. I too grew up in the dirt. Just relax and get used to the ride and it will grow on you quickly. I would drop the hint for the bell to the GF. You can search to check where to mount it low on the bike. As you learn about all the goodies you can add to the ride, keep in mind that things change and you can put quick detach mounts on it for your bags and other things. You can also change your seat so that a passenger pillion can be detached when not needed. Keep checking and searching this forum and you will see all kinds of options. Let the mods begin.
