i just took it to be inspected for my first ride and noticed a few things REAL FAST.

forward controls are either hard to get used to or not for me.

i need a tach, im having trouble guessing rpm and when to shift

this bike seems alot easier to handle when going fast

making sharp turns while moving slowly scares the **** out of me.

but i only had it out for half an hour ride in the cold so some/most of that may change.

also i found a small bell hanging from the bottom of the bike and cut it off at the garage. the guy said something about good and bad spirits or something like that. i dunno if he was messing with me or not? i hope i didnt just do something believed to cause bad luck, i just got it and need all the luck i can get while on her.

My first Harley was a '69 Triumph, haha. Couldn't afford a Harley, so that was the next best thing.

Good looking bike, OP.

You'll get used to the slow speed maneuvering. Imagine it on the big heavy twins.

Nice bike. Forward controls are weird if you are not used to them. My dealer loaned me one when I had my Ultra Classic serviced. I thought there was something wrong with it, but I probably just wasn't used to it.

You cut off the gremlin bell. Lots of threads on that.

Take it easy, until you get used to your bike.

Nice WG! Wish they still had that rear fender.
Enjoy and be safe out there!

...the little bell you cut off is a gremlin bell. There is a stick and many other threads on this subject...read up.

That is a nice looking bike. Looks like some good extras added too.
