well, its my first time trying this so all I did is followed the online instructions. The way I added it was by opening the Add-Ons manager, selected themes, then drag-dropped the .jar file into the themes window, clicked INSTALL, then had to restart Firefox for the install to be recognized. Opened up Firefox again, opened the Add-Ons manager, and then Themes, chose to use the Harley Davidson theme, then had to restart Firefox (again).
Give this a try, let me know what happens.
Note: I only changed a few toolbar icons as a test. If it works and people want more HD done to it, I'm open to suggestions and I'll try to implement. But if people can't get it working on their systems, then I'll scrap the attempt. [&o]

some great ideas here! I'm not the best at graphics but I'll give it a try.
Btw, to make updates easier, I'm figuring that out first. Once I get a version with the updates working properly I'll update this thread so you can replace the one you got now and updating will be much easier

I had no idea we could use themes with Firefox........what a great idea.
A full blown Harley theme would be mint for sure.

I have a few good icons I've made, looking for more creative ideas for other icons. I've got a hack going for a side image, was thinking it would be the HDF logo (if Terry thought that would be alright) but perhaps we can do it so people can put their own image of their bike instead.
I've registered this theme on mozilla themes home page (EDIT: https://addons.mozilla.org/?application=firefox) and am waiting for their approval. Once that's complete, install and updates will be a snap.
