It's been pretty chilly here today, but you can hate me Sunday. It's going to be sunny and 65, my bike will not be sitting still. So far I've ridden at least one day a month this year, not bad since I'm only able to ride weekends.

 

It was warm down here also. I got the house opened up as the sun goes down to cool it off. Too bad I am sick and won't be riding.

 

Come on down to S.A.Town and become a Born Again Texan. The coast is less than 2 hours away- if you drive the speed limit, and the hill country curves are in the back yard. They're nothing like the Appalachian Trail, but you can ride them with out looking like an Eskimo on vacation. I drive the bike to work daily. The only hic-up is our summers, hell has cooler days.

 

70ish day, rode to the marina with just a sweatshirt, jumped on the boat and went for a sail, then rode back home... I love February..

 

Back to being bitter cold and windy, so much for hopes of warm weather and riding soon.

 

I know, that's the only thing that sucks about this place. It can be bitter cold in the morning, then 70 in the afternoon - happens a lot this time of year.

 

Had to put my long johns on this morning riding to work was 48. It's about 57 right now.

 

If it's any consolation it was in the 30s this AM in Central FL......... but it will be in the high 70s tomorrow.

 

This freakin' weather is too much. 20° this morning and 58° when I left work. Of course the wind was blowing like hell and by the time I got home to go out for a ride the temperature was dipping into the upper 40s and windy. Froze my *** off by the time I got back.

Not what you'd call 'quality time'.
