These don't work on my mother. She still gives me crap.

I've been riding almost 20 years and she still gives me the lectures. She's the prototypical Jewish mother so beating a dead horse is just par for the course. She still believes all Jewish guys are more like the Woody Allen nebbish than the Scott Ian of Anthrax. She still thinks all Jewish guys don't ride motorcycles, don't drink beer, don't have tattoos, don't serve in the military, don't play sports or don't spit. Despite all the proof to the contrary, I'm a a failure as a Jew to her. Oh well.

My point is you just have to ignore it, go about your own thing and don't let it bother you.

 

Smile at them as they speak then laugh at 'em when they finish and shake your head as you walk/ride away.

 

this is all you need to remember...DILLIGAF.. f-em your living your life and thats all that matters, accidents happen period, yes you could get hurt but you can get just as hurt in countless other things that are more "socially acceptable".
