Retired Bikers
I'm looking for some riding partners that are retired, or available to ride during the week....want to ride slow enough to take in the scenery.....southeast region. I live south of Asheville and the Blue Ridge in Upstate South Carolina. PM me and maybe we can make some plans. I'm not big on crowded rallies or jacked rates. I do like the coast as well as the mountains.

Been retired 12 years now but live in the midwest. Usually ride by myself thru the week as everyone here either works or only want to ride to dealership on weekend, and my weekends are reserved for my grand babies.

try meetup.com see if there are some riders near you, if not start your own group. The local HOG chapter is a start, even if just to meet others. Are there any bike nights near you or events at the Dealership to get to meet people? Events, Rides and Road Reports here on the forums?

Thanks for the replies....and you Yankees need to head south for the southern cooking and some warmer weather. Kept in-touch, I'm known to trailer to farther destinations. The Ford in Detroit and Smithsonian museums in DC are on my list.
We do had a local HOG chapter....little too organized for me. Not that I want to ride every week, just a few times a yr. when you need a break from the grand babies, the mother-in-law, the wife.
Being financially able to retire/time to ride means taking advantage of your senior discounts and early bird specials Vet status on my SC drivers license gets me military discounts in a lot of places.
