Default Ape hangers

When I see bikes with the handlebars so far up,they look like shoulder or higher height.Isn't that uncomfortable? I can't keep my arms that high without a lot of fatigue.Or does holding on to the handlebars relieve that?

dont' knock the apes until you try um. I couldn't be more comfortable on my wide glide w/16" apes.

I have 13" apes on my Night Train, and they're perfect for me. They keep my hands at just below shoulder level. THe stock drag bars were really uncomfortable.

Cheers!

I agree... I had Wild1 504's on my 2 previous bikes, and loved 'em, but my 16"Apes are FAR MORE comfortable for me!I'm 6'2" and my arms rest perfectly just below my shoulders...

My cousin just put some 18" apes on his Dyna Wide Glide. He loves them and says that riding 'ape style' doesn't bother him a bit; either on short or long haul treks.

Don't think they are for me,but I think they look badass, especially on Heritages and Deluxes.

You know, when I saw the title of your post, I thought you were talking about this awesome local bar here in Southern Maryland. Oh well, I don't think apes are for me. Comfortable or now, I just don't like the way they look.

Apes aren't my style. Like the drag bars best.

I like the way they look, specially on choppers.I thought it would be like holding something over your head, which is exhausting to me.If your 6'4" I can see where they would be more comfortable.
