looks aint everything
I personally am much more comfortable riding with apes
I had a brother that let me ride his Dayna that was basicly stock
as he rode my shovel and I could not wait to get back on my bike
also when I repoed one of my bikes last year and rode it for a day I could not quite get comfortable on it with stock bars

I have run apes on my last three scoots. I wrecked a superglide about 22 years ago and it messed up my back. I was then running drags with 4" risers and loved em, but after the crash it hurt to bad to lean forward to the bars. So I have ran apes every since. 12 apes with 6" risers.

Just recently bought my 06 Standard, And the first thing I put on the bike was 16" apes. I'm 5'11, and they are very comfortable to me. I absolutely love the look and feel.

Shop called yesterday and said myRoad Kingwas done. I had them put 16" apes on as well as some other stuff. I'm going to pick the bike up Mon. However I won't be riding anytime soon due to snow, ice, and cold.

Can't beat apes on a chop - 18" feel great and handle great (I am 6' 3" though!)
