Do You Prefer Pull-On or Lace-Up Riding Boots??
Just wondered. Do you prefer pull-on or lace-up riding boots, and why?
Personally, I've always used the pull-on style boots. I started with the Engineer type boots back in the 1960's. In the mid-1980's I changed to the western style pull-on boots. I've just always liked the pull-on type boots, but I see a lot of guys with the lace-up "combat" type boots.
To me, the pull-on boots do a good job protecting my feet and ankles plus they are a little dressier looking and more easily pass for "casual" wear than the combat style boots.
And finally, the pull-on style boots seem to do a better job of preventing cold air from blowing up my pants legs when I'm riding in cool weather. To me, "cool weather" is anything under 72 degrees.
Just my 2 cents. Wondered what you thought?

I'm a lace-up guy. I've got a high instep, so a pull on has to be oversize for me to get on, then it feels loose around the foot causing blisters.
