Do You Prefer Pull-On or Lace-Up Riding Boots??

I wear Redwing lace up that have a rubber sole. Nothing worse than your foot slipping out at a red light.

Well, after a couple of days of listening to both sides, I couldn't decide whether to get another pair of pull-ons for their convenience, comfort, style, and lack of laces, or to get a tighter fitting pair of boots that had a zipper so.................... I compromised and got a pair of pull-ons that have no laces, but have a zipper up the back for quick easy on and easy off while still providing a relatively snug fit, good looks, and good traction.

I have a pair similar to those but they are made by HD and not quite as tall. My other boots work out so well I haven't worn the Harley boots riding yet, mostly just out and about as they are very comfortable.

I wear pull up boots to ride, but USMC lace up boots for work. The amount of engineering and quality in the new style combat boots is remarkable. I am thinking of switching to the USMC style boot for everyday riding because they are more comfortable than my Ariat boots.

I prefer pull on boots with laces and a side zipper. Easy to get on and off and still provides the extra security of the laces to make them fit nice and tight so they don't fly off if I go down.
