Default Smoked Turn Signal Lenses

Thinking of putting some smoked turn signals on my bike. For those of you that have them, do you think they degrade visibility to other traffic on the road? I have the integrated brake lights on my turn signals and like the look of the smoked but still want them to be highly visible. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean "smoke lenses" or are you planning to upgrade the signals to LED? I have the smoke lenses on my 09 FLHX & they're equally as bright as stock (FWIW), but I'm planning to swap these for LED signals (off=smoke/on=colors) soon...JMO.

Yeah... I've got the smoked lenses on my incandesent-bulb turn signals... When I've traded bikes with friends and followed my own bike, they appear just as bright as any others (though dimmer than LED's!) and that's during daylight ... so I wouldn't worry about degrading visibility because of them.

I have them on my front signals and don't think they are as bright as the stock lenses.

No LED for now, just the smoked plastic caps and the bulbs that come with them.

I have them, love them, and don't notice any difference in brightness

I got smoke lenses and red bulbs.

Omits a nice orange color that looks good but more importantly is bright and noticeable.

I have them front & rear turn signals and the front fender light. I think they are just as visible and they look a lot better (especially when your lights are off or not blinking).
