Does Someone Have This
Looking to borrow or use someones inner cam bearing remove/replace tool. I am working on a 2005 Ultra and Live in Kenosha WI which is southeast Wisconsin. I have done this job before using the AutoZone puller and freezer method with a hammer and old cam but would like the sense of mind that all is well with the proper tools. If you are close a few beers is yours for the bit of time I need this tool.

Sorry, I don't have the tool but you should probably name the tool within your post so it has the possibility of hitting people's searches. Here it is: JIMS Inner Cam Bearing Removal Tool - 993
Good luck with the install.
Good luck with the install.

There are a couple of different manufactures of the tool I am looking for. Not partial to any brand that I know of. The install tool is the more vital one to me. I fear smashing the new inner bearing in to far and not realizing I smashed the bearing untill my new cam is toast.

Damn, how hard are you hitting that thing...I just lightly tapped mine and it went in i stopped when it was flush with the outside of the housing...

+1 on this. This has to be one of the simplest bearings I've installed. Mine just tapped right in....

there is nothing wrong with an autozone puller. then just put a socket backwards on a extension to tap the bearing in till its flush with the case.. if you have to use any kind of force, your doing something wrong.

Hell, with the simple installer tool it stopped when it was flush...25000 miles on mine now...I will open it at 100000 to maybe swap the cams to 48's
