Lighter, torch done it but you have to be careful or you will just melt the tubing or worse with that torch...

And only buy the best American made tubing. There is some really bad crap out there that doesn't even have ozone resistance.

Heat gun if you dont have one get yer Ol Ladies Hair dryer, that dont work or your on the road why else do I carry a bic???

Heat gun, bought one at Sears for $28. Hair dryers take forever and don't really get it tight in my experience. I also found some water-proof, heat shrink butt splices (all-in-one) at Meijer that are great, they don't come in black but you can put a piece of black tubing over the top for double protection.
