Xelement Leather - what's the quality?

I've bought a few things from leatherup over the years...chaps, jacket, gloves...still using them. G/f bought me a harley jacket 2 years ago. Is the $465 Chinese made HD jacket better than the $100 Pakistan Xelement. No.
If HD can do business with China, why should I feel bad about sending $ to someone here in the USA that does business with Pakistan?
I'm not real fashion conscious when it comes to leather apparel, so paying 400% +more for a product that I'm probly gonna take off when I dismount just don't make sense to me.

Ditto!! I bought one of their higher end jackets and have 2 years and about 25,000 miles on it so far. (this one http://www.leatherup.com/p/Naked-Mot...ket/93296.html) It is very good quality leather with good quality hardware. I am very pleased with it for the price. It is every bit as good as a a $600 jacket from other manufacturers.

I was looking for a leather jacket but I'll probably wait, since spring is right around the corner. As Harley stuff being overpriced. It's not. The NAME is but that's all.

Here is the jacket I got:

The chaps:

The boots:

Had a 10% off coupon, so everything came in under $300 shipped. When I came off my bike and landed in a ditch after some blue hair tried to use me and my bike as a speed bump, other than being sore and pissed off, no damage to me, some scuffs on the leather but they held up and are still going strong three years later. It was still cheaper than one HD jacket.

Gunny, I have a jacket and it's nice. Keeps me warm, also has zipper vents to keep you cool. If you don't have 4 to 600 to spend on a Harley jacket, it's a great quick fix.. I'm getting ready to order some boots as well

Yes, and you can't run dino/syn oil in a Harley or it will explode and void your warranty.
