Default Iceman336 checking in

Hey everybody!

It's been a little over 3 months since my head on collision and my life flight to the hospital. I'm doing well and am now in rehab. Hopefully I will be up and looking for a new scoot by riding season.

For those not in the know, the accident happened Sept 26. Sheared both hands off (they were hanging by scraps of skin), broke a collarbone, 7 ribs, fractured my spine from the T10 down (basically my entire middle and lower back), pulverized my pelvis and turned in to a wishbone from the ******* to my navel (my lower intestines were laying on the pavement), and soft tissue damage to my right leg. The docs were able to reattach the hands and my lower intestines but I currently have to wear a colonoscopy bag as I had periodontal poisoning. It remains to be seen if they can reattach the lower intestine to my *******.

I am now in rehab and am learning to walk again. It's going well with all things considered. I appreciate all those who kept me in their thoughts the past 90 + days.

You can see pics of the accident if you Google "Devon Dispatch September 28". I can't enclose the link on here for some reason but the pics are on page 3.

Regards,

Iceman336

HOLY CRAP! Iceman. Never heard a peep about it. I'm so glad you are alive and back with us. I like your attitude, though...gonna be ridin' again. Don't let anything get you down, man. Heal up good. I won't say soon because I know it won't be fast, but heal up good.

Amazing surgeries. I know you will have pain and struggles for a long time, but what a great attitude. I bet the rehab people love working with you. All the best in getting back on a bike.
