im planning on heading out to syracuse this weekend for the swap meet. starts on saturday and ends sunday. anybody else going??

 

is it this weekend????? I thought the following?
not if they are getting snow like today,,,,, cars stuck on 81 for hours!!

 

Its this weekend. I went last year and it was a blast. I've already spent too much on the scoot this winter though so I prob won't be making the hour drive.

 

got a bud up in Syracuse....says its butt-freezin cold...schools shut down....wind chill -15 with 3' of snow on the ground

 

Thanks for mentioning this. I'm 30-40 mins from syracuse and hadn't heard about this. Where is it at the fairgrounds?

 

i have no clue where the fairgrounds are, but i am a fan of mapquest so it shouldnt be hard. havent looked at the weather yet, cold and some snow i will do. several inches i may think about it. my buddy went last year and said it was great too.

i just google syracuse super swap. doesnt seem to be alot of info, but i heard it was good.

 

Hell, I'm IN Syracuse and I didn't know it was this weekend. I'll give you all a tip: Make sure your vehicle's registration and inspection sticker are up-to-date. When I went a couple years ago, the cops were on the off-ramp to the fairgrounds "inspecting". I had a great time when I went, but I might not make it this time. Son will be in swimming championships on Saturday, gotta work on Sunday. If you can go, do so. If you see a guy named "Bird" displaying his wheels, tell him you heard his real nickname is "Skippy", then watch some cool facial expressions!!!
