I've been watching the crude markets all morning......It's now hit $67 a barrell!

Gas in SoCal is now at $3.09 a gallon for 87!!!!!!!

I thought all the money we're spending "nation building" in Iraq was supposed to get us cheaper gas?

 

Well I guess it's just like you said, the gas companies will charge you as much as they can.

 

It brings up the old question, when will they be satisfied? It's just a part of life and I think that we should try and get used to it, because times change and not always for the better.

 

Exxon/Shell posted something like $40 BILLION dollars in pure profit...last QUARTER (that's no exageration, folks!) To pour salt on the wound, the government has approved subsidies for the oil industry, giving them huge tax breaks AND granting them $100 MILLION to search for more oil in the Gulf of Mexico. That they can find, and sell to us for $3.00 a gallon! YEAH!!!

Am also in So. Ca. and see the gas prices continue to rise daily. US world news say that San Diego has the highest price in gas in the nation. One of my friends live in Yuma and he said it is about 25 cents per gallon less. Yuma is in the desert so you would think it would be higher there, go figure.

 

I will agree with you, it seems that somethings hit the average american more than any other group of people. It doesn't seem right.
