Bob be careful on that. I had a friend tell me 2 days ago that the jacket that takes the Bat.Pack is a different jacket. This is hear say on my part because I did not research it my self but it is worth doing the leg work if that is what your looking for. My friend also told me the jacket that takes the Bat.Pack is only a few bucks more & has a pocket on the inside for the Bat.pack & that you ride with the juice from the bike going through the pack so it's always charging as you ride in preparation for when you stop. Here is the bad news the damn Bat.Pack costs a small fortune

I don't know why it's taking so long for them to get your vest back. Like I said my dealings with them were amazing. I got my jacket back in 4 days. Dude if your in Canada a vest is defenetly not the way to go LOL

I have been using Widder heated vest, arms, gloves and leggings for 2 years now and have had no problem at around zero but you have to turn them down after you start out. These run off my battery as most others, simple attachment like a battery tender.

Heated gear
Is anyone using dual source heated gear?I want to buy Gerbings Hybrid Vest to use on my bike and also to wear in other activities. (quote)

I have installed battery plug ends for my Gerbing heated gear in my boat and on my ATV. I plow snow and road hunt with the 4 wheeler and my hands get too cold, so adding the plug in so I can wear coat and gloves is a winner. Same for the boat, as fall fishing can be quite cool and some of the boat rides to and fro the walleye holes are very cool

I use it I love it I ride below zero often. At my age I don't care about tough guy stuff.
I have both Heat demon and Gerbing . The gloves are great

Thanks for all the input. I decided to go with the Gerbings jacket liner (12v) the batteries and set up are out of my price range.
