Why don't you have a windshield?

No doubt and I think that's what I said above. I ride in the cold, but just choose to use a shield while doing it. It's not that I can't ride without a shield, it's simply more comfortable for me to use one and I couldn't care less about how it looks on the bike. Seems a lot of folks get caught up in how the bike looks with a windshield and that's why they don't use one. If you enjoy riding without a shield for long distances then again more power to you.

i ride long distance in the cold. not running a shield has never been about looks to me , I just don't like them in front of me. I don't know how to explain it , but without a shield the view is open and crisp, behind a shield ( even looking over one ) a lot of the view just seems muddied up...I don't know how to say what I mean , but I bet folks like me that don't run them understand what I am meaning.

To shield or not to shield
Anyways last year I ran with no shield this year I ran with one. My windshield will stay on because it makes me feel comfortable and keeps me cleaner when I ride. If I wanted to look cool I would put stickers on it, that would make me look cool as if I care.
