Why don't you have a windshield?

I don't know if you said that tongue in cheek but as an old timer, the reason I ride is to feel the wind in my face, If it's too damn cold I keep the ride in the barn. My only protection against the elements is a half helmet with a face shield that pulls down when needed, don't like the bugs in my mouth lol...

I find the wind coming up from the bottom of a windshield more annoying than a straight on blast. However, a good Bat wing with fork mounted delectors (beard savers) works pretty well but I just have the stock looking Memphis Shade that I haven't use in over a year.

I don't have a windsheld on my bike because
I don't want one. At one time I had one, but
the wind knocked my head around to the point
that I gave my windsheld away after only 3 miles
of use.

on the fence about windshields had them before just got used to not having one on this bike a big safety factor with them we had a semi wheel chock fly thru my truck windshield once really makes you think about how fast you can cash out by road hazards like that

This sums up how I feel. Sometimes it's nice to detatch, but when I'm doing hundreds of miles in a day on the highway, a windsheild makes my experience better. Wind fatigue will put a damper on a great ride. I enjoy riding- anything that makes my ride more comfortable for long distances is worth it IMO. My bobber was great for bar hopping, but I found myself stopping way more often on longer rides.

I ride 80 miles to work in all weather without a windshield. I travel 90-100 all the way. I'd rather have a fairing than a windshield but cant afford it after my other upgrades.
Anyway, riding without a windshield makes your bike look cooler. And makes the rider look and feel multiple times cooler. To the point where you're absolutely frozen at times. Curse this European weather.
