Very nice - I have always admired Corbra's - doesn't have to be a 427 either - never own one or built one - Main reason is I like a vert top so I can have some shade when it's a 100 out - I don't ride the bike when it's really hot out - - I'm really happy with my BMW Z3 - of all the vehicles I have owned in my gearhead life - the Z3 is my favorite - Not the fastest car on the road but it's like a Harley - it has 100% of the fun factor going for it! - my hats off to you - you have a great stable - tom
I added this one to the stable this week - 1981 - CJ5 - 47K actual miles - rare find - tom
How did you score such a nice cj5? My buddy has a beat up rust bucket of a cj5 in his driveway and people still knock on his door once a month offering to buy it. I didn't think there were any nice ones left. Great score, looks amazing.

They are getting harder to come by - A CJ's in it's day wasn't bought as a Sunday driver - They were bought for work & work them we did on the farm or hunting rigs - - The last new one I bought I paid just a little over 11 grand OTD - My Dad bought a new one way back for less then 3K dollars -They were used hard & put away wet - Most have gone to the bone yard - A restored CJ today can bring 12 to 13 thousand - tom
