Harley Dealer not negligent for test ride

So what about the $$$ it cost the dealership in attorney's fees and any court costs? They should sue the guy's attorney for taking them to court...

If you got rid of all the lawyers, who would defend you when morons file stupid claims? Remember that it is a lawyer that's saving your *** from from the stupid lawsuit.
I can't believe that the lawyer representing the employee took the claim.
Unfortunately, in many states it is very difficult to sue for being sued, even when the claim is rather ridiculous.

Yeah that is what i am wondering. Sounds like there might be more to this story

Its funny how many of you read over this without catching that he did not receive workers comp to pay the 600K in medical bills due to an on the job injury. The dealer did not have coverage at the time, due to some dispute with the insurance company. Which was later found to be in the favor of the dealer. This man has a legitimate claim to have his bills paid. Him trying to sue the dealer was stupid. He should be suing the insurance company to have his medical bills paid like he was entitled to by workers comp laws.

How does one find the motivation to test drive anything that often? Almost sounds OCD.

I take it he worked there and was more than likely a mechanic. Thats why he test rode that many.

From what it sounds like he got an insane medical bill and freaked out. Cant blame him, what person could afford to pay $600 grand for anything. Although I agree it was all his fault I feel bad he lost a leg and is now bankrupt.
