Default North Carolina engine shops, performance people

I live in NC east of Raleigh and I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with quality performance shops. I go by Ray Price about once a month for random junk and my dealer in Rocky Mount is not going to touch my bike again. I was wondering if there's a independent shop or dealer in NC that is good at building motors. Kendall Johnson is about 2.5 hours west of me and I doubt he lifts a finger for anything less than $5,000. ?????????????????????

Do a search on some of the forums about tmans performance.
They do full installation by appointment, andalsohave dyno facilities.

Don got my business, quite a ride from Charlotte considering Charlotte HD is less than 10 minutes from my house.

Back in the '70's, we'd ride up to Stateville to Don's rather than go to "Honest Ernest" Hinson's if it involved anything more than a quart of Pre-luxe. this was after old man Creech retired.Plus, his parts chicks were really hot. And he really knows his stuff.

While I have no direct dealings with these guys, I had a buddy who had a shovelhead motor built by these guys and it ran like a raped ape.

Sounds good all. Keep 'em coming in. I'm looking for someone to get me about 105/105 at 9.5:1 from a cubic inch upgrade to my 06 Bob.

Heck, they are still quite fine, Amanda did my paperwork and I wasn't sure if I was drooling over her or my new bike. [sm=icon_beat.gif]
