I have been wearing them for so long, it's painful to go without. Wear custom plugs if I'm not going to be going very fast and 33db foam for longer, faster runs.

Another benefit-- I just got a bagger with a radio and can actually hear the music a lot better with the plugs in as they eliminate the wind roar from the helmet. I found it amazing that the radio was loud and clear even with ear plugs, full face helmet and going 70 miles per hour.
