You gotta be kiddin me, they charge a buck and a quarter just for changing oil?? I'm in the wrong business, need to start an oil change service in my garage. I know there is a quick oil change chain called "bikers bay" I believe. Don't know what they charge.

There's a lot of envy out there. An unattractive emotion, I always feel.
I agree with your definition 100%
Also don't forget that if your bike ever came within 20' of a trailer then you are not a "Real Biker" and by extension most likely a "Wallet Biker".

Last time I took my truck to one a them oil changin places, (which was many yrs ago), the guy buggered up the filler plug on my transfer case. Played hell gettin it out. Never again. Costs me about 40 bucks to change the oil on the bike. Takes about 20 mins.

Same here, except I use more expensive oil. 5 quarts of Amsoil is $55 and a K&N filter is another $17, so at least $75 after tax. On the other hand, to actually get HD to do it for $125, you'd better catch them running a special. I'd rather do my own work even if it cost the same.

Back to the subject: I always figured a "wallet biker" was one of those guys who posts on here about how his tool kit is a cell phone and a credit card (and seems proud of it) or the guys who post, as one did, about trailering their bike to a rally that was a 2.5 hour ride from his home.

Funny thing; when I was a boy my Dad had one of the long chain wallets. Had nothing to do with bikers, as he ran sales routes; Holsum Bread, Dr. Pepper and Fuller Brush.
Growing up, I always wanted a chain wallet; not to be a biker, but to be like my Pop.

Some of us that worked our assess off did not waste our cash on booze and partying and can now afford what we want with out a lot of drama are often called wallet bikers.
Truth is many of us put more mile a month on than to the real bikes in a year.
You life your cash your ride do it your way

spent most of the year building our retirement home at the coast and only managed 20k this year. should have time for a lot more riding next year.
guess i will just keep reaching for my wallet to fill the tank and roll another couple of hundred miles--you non-wallet guys can stay at home and work on your bike(don't forget the lemon pledge). that way the roads will not be so crowded!
Brag on dude.
