I'm gonna pay somebody to change my fork oil because I work 6-7 days a week and don't have time to do it. Guess I'm a wallet biker but,,I get the same feeling while riding my bike as the "real" bikers do.
All Y'all know what I mean.

Dam you'd almost think it was full on winter from all the angst in here...

I'm probably a 3%er wallet biker-- when something needs to be done that is too complicated, I don't understand or I don't have the right gauges or tools; but the rest of the time I'm not....

I thought it meant those guys that have their wallet attached to a chain and their belt. Shows you what I know.

I do ride almos every day but I live in vegas...and am retired. Some may not be able to do the same due to weather or work...what ever. I say who cares worry about your self and ride your own ride.

Aside from the 13K I've but on my bike since I took delivery in February, I'm the poster boy for a wallet biker. I have a whole stack of HD T-shirts, FXRG riding gear and yes even a Harley wallet. Never did any kind of work on my own bike until last night when I got adventurous and did a Stage 1 upgrade all by myself. (Using my overpriced HD branded premium tool kit).

I wear the title with pride and have no problem laughing at myself about it. It's the main reason I chose Dudley as my avatar picture.

I might change my own oil but my wife yells at me when I dump the old stuff down the kitchen sink.

Wow! Wallet biker, poser, real biker, RUB, pirate, 1%'er, ATGANI, squid......
I am so confused.
I thought I was "just a guy who loves to ride his Harley-Davidson." Now I have to do some research to find out what I really are.
<<sighs>> more time spent as a posing keyboard commando...

Sounds like a term someone might use to judge others and make himself feel superior.

I don't care if I'm called a wallet biker or not. I work hard for the little money I get, and I'm always thinking of what parts to put on my bike next :-)
I do virtually none of the work on it because I don't have the tool/time/know-how to do it, let alone if I mess up something major, or find out later that my work caused something wrong,,,
and I'd rather be out riding! So might as well let someone work on it who actually knows his way around the bike.
I can talk the mechanic talk, but when walking the walk I feel like I'm on a balance beam!

Some guys just can't stand to see someone else who did what they could have done, but decided against it 20 years ago, and now they are paying the price.

Without an education, you are nothing more than a disposable worker. FACT.

Too cool for school fk'n sucks when you hit 40 and look back.
