Is this a good deal?
I'm considering this 1991 FXSTC. It's priced $6495 and has only 9K miles. Before I visit the dealer, I wanted to see what y'all think.

$6,500 for a 22 year old FXSTC doesn't seem like a great deal to me.
I think it's overpriced.
It does look like a real nice bike but, $3k-$4k would be a good deal for me.

Thanks. The age of the bike doesn't bother me. It's actually in better condition than some 2 and 3 year old bikes I've seen. $3k-$4k might buy a Sportster. I have not seen a clean big twin in this range, at least one that didn't need work.

This time of year you have a lot of bikes on the market that are 10 years old and newer that are selling for that same price. And plenty of them have low miles, too.
It's a nice looking bike but I bet the dealer that traded it has too much in it. Not a great deal by any means.

It's not worth that much to me though, particularly in this economy.
I wouldn't pay $3k-$4k for a 22 year old Sporty either.......

I would think somewhere around 5K would be closer but if you feel it is worth it then get it. As long as you are happy with the bike and can swing the cash, just don't second guess the price after you buy it or it will drive you crazy.

I bought bikes from this dealer in the past. I called the sales manager and questioned the price. He said is negotiable. I plan to check out the bike this weekend. If I go forward, I'll offer $5500 out the door.
