Did you see the windshield on the one in the picture? Solved. And if you really want to eliminate it, a $30 fork baffle. Yeah, crazy I know.

Based on several replies here, many of you wouldn't ride the Road King because it doesn't have a radio. Or is it you wouldn't ride a Street Glide without a radio? Whatever. Where can I find that "pussification" thread that won't go away?

Vey good question posed - Here's my take if the bikes couldn't be modded:
The Road King will have a better ride than the Streetglide, but the batwing would provide better shelter. However you can get around the lack of sound on the King with an Ipod or smart phone and earbuds.
For such a long trip I'd take the StreetGlide in this instance, and probably put up a sore azz if I couldn't change the seat and change the rear shocks to 13 inchers.
