Thank you all so much! Cant begin to describe how this has affected me. It feels like being on the tipping point of insanity & totally alone as the world just roll's on by. I'm goin' up into the mountains monday. gotta be alone & fight the pain head on or I won't make it. If I win, I might be back mid December. If I dont, Some lucky bastard gets a free Decker. I wish this on no one!
You guys have helped me keep composure so far But I have to fix this by facing what I fear.

That seriously sucks dude. The pain, the emptiness... knowing your whole world has changed forever ... is like no other feeling. Deal with it however you have to. You'll get through it, even if it doesn't feel that way right now.

Stay strong Hatch, I'm sure that your lady would want you to find peace, celebrate her life, live long, and find a way to enjoy your life going forward.
Probably an extremely difficult thought right now, but to do less only diminishes all you have done so far. Serve her well by living life fully my friend.

Wow... Man you have my sincerest and deepest condolences. I just cannot even imagine what you are going through. I hope that you are able to find some comfort soon and I know it will be hard.
We had a cancer scare with my wife a bit over 2 months ago and even that shattered me. I know your wife is watching over you now and is sending her love and she too is hoping you will find comfort soon. When you have that kind of bond my friend it never goes away.
Regardless of religious views or whatever, deep inside you must know that your wife is still with you. 18 years of love and caring doesn't just go away. She'll always be with you.
