I have J&S, buddy has PitBull. Both are top quality jacks.
After owning it, I wouldn't take a Sears jack if they were free.

OTC 1545 low profile lift is the only jack you'll ever need. It rolls under my Ultra Classic while on jiffy stand without contact, 1500 lbs limit and cost $150- $175.

I got one of these Harbor Freight high lifts, picks a sporty up 2' under the wheels with no effort, and way more solid than the cheaper standard bike jacks. I don't like that it won't roll with a bike on, but it's great for working on the bike sitting on a stool instead of leaning over. About the only thing I use the more conventional jack for is moving the bike in the garage. It's rated for 1100 lbs, but built heavier than my 1500 lb jack and has bigger bolts. You safety strap it to the lifting legs, and can lift it that way without loosening them. I wouldn't work on a bike on any of them without tie downs.

I went nuts after seeing the Pitbull demo at Reno. Bought the air over hydraulic with the turn table. The extra heigth along with the air and turntable made cleaning and working on the bike a pleasure. Yes, expensive but worth it IMHO.

If I had it to do over again I would certainly buy this one instead of the Sears aluminum one I have now.

And it's even cheaper. Was on sale, 179.00, and I used a 20.00 coupon, couldn't complain about the price. It should fit the larger ones ok, but doesn't fit a sporty real well, so I added a piece of angle iron for a better grip. I put an explanation with photos how I did that: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...-a-sporty.html
