Buy it, throw her on the back and rip into that throttle, If she doesn't get wet by the time you hit second, trade her in for a younger model.

My wife called it a geezer bike so I bought a road king. A year later she bought a street glide.

A touring bike is not as much about age as it is function. It is for Touring. I use the heck out of mine for that. For local riding I have a Night Rod Special, XR1200, Super Glide and FXSTC.

Now that I am 72 do I have to give them up?

My take on the OP's post: He couldn't get financing = sour grapes.

Guess he wouldn't like this one either.
