Default I hate those times

When something is just a little off. Just doesnt feel right. Had one of those mornings today and decided to leave the scoot in the garage and take the cage. I have no idea what was up, but hey, hopefully I will live to ride another day!

I had one of those days yesterday. Then my wife said her and my daughter were going to clean house so I should just go and have a good time. I got the bike out and rode 70 miles to meet up with 30 old retired motorcyclists for lunch. It turned out to be a great day with temps in the 60's after it warmed up a bit with 5 mph wind, and I ended up riding 150 miles for the day. I was glad I went. I just love the sound of my drag pipes when cruising on the hiway at 60 to 70. The old 99 Softail Custom never missed a shot as usual, and ran great. Kansas weather can be beautiful this time of year for riding.

Sometimes this is the wisest move.

Good call. I rode my bike one day when I was tired. Ended up on a curve too fast, and had to ride the shoulder. Worked out OK, but was scary.

I went back later to see how I F'ed up ands saw that I had spaced out and missed a 25mph curve warning sign, and went in about 45, and hit gravel. There was about a 30 ft drop into a wooded ravine, on a low traffic rural road, so they would probably still be looking for my remains. Next time I will listen to that voice telling me to stay off the bike.

Your 6th sense is never to be ignored. I'm glad you didn't.

I hear the "little voice" sometimes but it's never stopped mre from riding, just makes me be that much more alert, careful, whatever you wanna call it. I totally believe in the guardian angel thing, I think that's why you hear it or feel it - a little extra something inside telling you to be on your toes. JMO.

Good one BP.

I've had that feeling once. Things just didn't feel right once I started the ride. Can't really remember any of it so must have turned out OK.

I had the same feeling that something was not right the day before my first two marriages. I should have gone riding instead of showing up at the weddings. Third marriage is a charm. No ill feelings the day before the wedding and none ever since.

That feeling determines whether I put a helmet on. Drives the wife nuts, but I listen to it.
