Laid her down today
No serious damage or injuries thank god. Bad thing is the wife and kids were right behind me when it happened and saw the whole thing. Wifey had just spent all morning riding on the back and was just starting to get comfortable rolling.
Sitting at the red light getting ready to make a left turn when I get the green, and shift into 1st, roll out about 10 feet, and out of nowhere a lady in a pick up runs the red light from my right. Slammed on the brakes and laid it down about a foot from her. She's actually hysterical at this point and apologizing profusely. I didn't even flip her the bird or act an ***. Just said a quick prayer, picked up the bike and kept it moving. Whew! Grey Goose and Cranberry is helping big time with the scratch on the crash bars...

I hope you call the cops and got her insurance information, she was at fault and should be paying for the repairs of your bike.

I am very glad you are ok. In regards to the post about fault: The law doesn't put the other driver at fault when you lose control of your vehicle trying to avoid an accident. This applies to bikes and cars.
