Eagle Leather is up here in Washington. Good people, great prices. They do have a website if you're not close enough.

Why leave your *** hanging in the wind? Buy leather overpants, and protect everything from the cold and pavement. Remember, if you are sliding down the road, anything "sticking out" is the first to get road rash.

I have a pair Joe Rockets that have lasted 10 years, but soon need to be replaced. My lady has a pair from Leatherup.com, which are nice, but not near the quality of mine.

ya I've gotten a few things from leather up as far as leather and it's ok especially for the price but I'm about to have to start replacing it.

I bought these from cycle gear. http://www.cyclegear.com/eng/product...aps/web1006988 They have a quilted insulated liner that snaps in and out.

Don't have much good info to add to this conversation so just thought I'd throw this in to participate.

+1 on Leatherup.

Chaps are the perfect gear for motorcycle riding. Easy on and off so you're not stuck wearing them all day if the weather warms up or you don't want or need them when you reach your destination. There's no extra bulk where you need to bend and great warmth as well as protection. The Village People did us a disservice by suggesting they were effeminate. The odd thing is, another one of the Village People was a construction worker and I doubt anyone now thinks that a hard hat is effeminate. Chaps started with cowboys and there is nothing gay about them. They make sense on a real horse and make just as much sense (for the same reasons) on an iron horse.

Man up! Wear what works and don't worry about what you look like or what anyone may think.

Chaps have saved me from some nasty burns and road rash quite a few times .

great for cold protection.

I am close to a quarter million miles riding on Harleys and have wore out a few pairs or had them damaged in acidents .
I don't wear them all the time but when conditions warrent .....great safety gear.

I Don't give a **** what the HOMOphobic in the closet fashion police think or say.

Congrats on the 250K, buddy! that is impressive.

One of my buddies has 150K on his 2001 Road King. I love riding with Veterans like you. The stories you hear are great. LOL

I have been riding right at 2 and 1/2 yrs, and have nearly 30K under my belt. I worked on offshore drilling rigs for the first 6 months after I started riding. So, I was away at work more than home.

I will have to ride for another 20 yrs to catch you, but that's ok..... I'm up for the challenge!
